Indication:
1. This product is used as an alternative for penicillin allergic patients to treat the following infections: acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis and sinusitis caused by hemolytic streptococcus and Streptococcus pneumoniae; Scarlet fever and cellulitis caused by hemolytic streptococcus; Diphtheria and diphtheria carriers; Gas gangrene, anthrax and tetanus; Actinomycosis; Syphilis; Listeriosis, etc.
2. Legionella disease.
3. Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.
4. Chlamydia pneumoniae pneumonia.
5. Urogenital infection caused by other chlamydia and mycoplasma.
6. Chlamydia trachomatis conjunctivitis.
7. Oral infection caused by anaerobic bacteria.
8. Campylobacter jejuni enteritis.
9. Whooping cough.

Usage and dosage:Oral administration, 0.75 ~ 2G for adults a day, divided into 3 ~ 4 times, and 3 ~ 4 times for children according to their body weight of 20 ~ 30mg / kg every day.
For the treatment of Legionella disease, adults should take 0.5 ~ 1.0g once, four times a day.

Adverse reactions
1. Hepatotoxic reactions after taking this product are more common than taking other erythromycin preparations. Patients may have fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, rash, fever, etc. after taking this product for a few days or 1 ~ 2 weeks. Sometimes jaundice may occur, and the liver function test shows cholestasis, which can often be recovered after drug withdrawal.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, middle and upper abdominal pain, tongue pain, decreased appetite, etc. The incidence is related to the dose.
3. High dose (≥ 4G / day), especially in patients with liver and kidney diseases or elderly patients, may cause hearing loss, which is mainly related to high blood drug concentration (] 12mg / L), and can be recovered after drug withdrawal.
4. Allergic reactions are drug fever, rash and eosinophilia, with an incidence of about 0.5% ~ 1%.
5. Others: occasional arrhythmia, oral or vaginal Candida infection.

Taboo:

Matters needing attention:
1. Alt, AST, AKP and bilirubin increase after taking this product is more common than taking other erythromycin preparations.
2. Hemolytic streptococcal infection should be treated with this product for at least 10 days to prevent the occurrence of acute rheumatic fever.
3. Patients with renal dysfunction generally do not need to reduce the dosage.
4. When the patient is allergic or intolerant to an erythromycin preparation, he can also be allergic or intolerant to this product.
5. Use with caution in patients with chronic liver disease and liver function damage.
6. Because there are some differences in the sensitivity of different bacteria to erythromycin, the drug sensitivity should be determined.
7. Interference with diagnosis: erythromycin can interfere with the fluorescence determination of higerty method, resulting in a false increase in the measured value of urinary catecholamine. Serum alkaline phosphatase, bilirubin, alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase may increase.

Medication for pregnant and lactating women:
1. This product can enter the fetal circulation through the placenta, and the possibility of hepatotoxic reaction increases after taking this product, so it is not suitable for pregnant women.
