Product Description

Character:
This product is a colorless clear liquid with slight salty taste.

Adverse reactions:
  1. Too much fluid and too fast can cause retention of water and sodium, resulting in edema, increased blood pressure, heart rate, chest tightness, dyspnea, and even acute left heart failure.
  2. Too much and too fast administration of hypotonic sodium chloride can cause hemolysis and brain edema.
Matters needing attention:
1.Use with caution in the following situations:
(1)Edema diseases, such as nephrotic syndrome, cirrhosis ascites, congestive heart failure, acute left heart failure, brain edema and idiopathic edema, etc;
(2)In the oliguria stage of acute renal failure, the urine volume of chronic renal failure is decreased and the reaction to diuretics is poor;
(3)Hypertension;
(4)Hypokalemia.
2.According to the clinical needs, check the concentration of sodium, potassium and chloride ions in serum, the indexes of acid-base balance in blood, renal function, blood pressure and cardiopulmonary function.

Pharmacology and Toxicology:
Sodium chloride is an electrolyte supplement. Sodium and chlorine are important electrolytes in the body. They mainly exist in extracellular fluid and play an important role in maintaining normal blood and extracellular fluid volume and osmotic pressure. The normal serum sodium concentration is 135-145 mmol / L, which accounts for 92% of plasma cations and 90% of total osmotic pressure. Therefore, the amount of plasma sodium plays a decisive role in osmotic pressure. The normal serum chloride concentration is 98-106 mmol / L. sodium and chloride ions in human body are mainly regulated by hypothalamus, posterior pituitary and kidney to maintain the stability of body fluid volume and osmotic pressure.

Pharmacokinetics:
Sodium chloride directly enters the blood circulation after intravenous injection, and is widely distributed in the body, but mainly exists in the extracellular fluid. Sodium ion and chloride ion can be filtered by glomerulus and partly reabsorbed by renal tubules. Excreted by the kidney with urine, only a small part from sweat.

Storage: Keep in closed condition.
term of validity: 24 months.
