Indication:

1. treat tetany caused by calcium deficiency, acute HYPOCALCIUM, alkalosis and hypoparathyroidism;
2. allergic diseases;
3. rescue in case of magnesium poisoning;
4. rescue of fluorosis;
5. it is used in cardiac resuscitation (such as rescue of cardiac dysfunction caused by high potassium or low blood calcium, or calcium channel block).

Usage and dosage:

Dilute with 10% glucose injection and inject slowly, no more than 5ml per minute. Adult for hypocalcemia, once LG, can be repeated if necessary; for hypermagnesemia, once l-2g; for fluorosis rescue, intravenous injection of this product LG; repeat after 1 hour, if there is tetany, intravenous injection of this product 3G; if there is fluoride damage to skin tissue, 10% calcium gluconate 50mg per square centimeter of damaged area. For hypocalcemia in children, 25mg / kg (6.8mg calcium) was injected slowly. However, due to the greater irritation, this product is generally not used in children.

Adverse reactions:

Intravenous injection may have systemic fever, rapid intravenous injection may produce arrhythmia, even cardiac arrest, vomiting, nausea. It can cause hypercalcemia. In the early stage, it can show constipation, drowsiness, persistent headache, loss of appetite, metallic taste in the mouth, abnormal dry mouth, etc. in the late stage, it can show mental disorder, hypertension, eye and skin sensitivity to light, nausea, vomiting, arrhythmia, etc.

Taboo:

It is forbidden to use the product if it is allergic to any ingredient;
It is forbidden to use this product during the application of cardiac glycoside;
It is forbidden in patients with hypercalcemia.

Matters needing attention:

1. During intravenous injection, if it leaks out of the blood vessel, it can cause skin redness, rash and pain at the injection site, followed by peeling and tissue necrosis. In case of leakage out of blood vessels, the injection should be stopped immediately, and the injection should be washed locally with sodium chloride injection; hydrocortisone, 1% lidocaine and hyaluronic acid should be given locally, and the local limbs should be raised and hot compress should be applied.
2. Interference to diagnosis: it can increase serum amylase and serum concentration of 7-hydroxycortisol. Long term or large-scale use of this product can reduce the serum phosphate concentration.
3. It is not suitable for patients with renal insufficiency and respiratory acidosis.
4. Intravenous injection of this product is forbidden during the application of cardiac glycoside.
5. Do not use this product in case of precipitation.
6. The solubility of calcium gluconate in water is about 3.3%, so this product is supersaturated solution and may crystallize. It is suggested in the manual of the same product abroad that if there is crystallization, it can be used after water bath heating and re dissolving. But it is not recommended to use after crystallization at present
